Responsive, scalable, resilient, and well-structured applications are hard to envision in the Java world, and the only way to do so is by Micro-services. In this talk, Bhavya will discuss how he and his team transformed a retail giant's eCommerce platform using Scala and principles of functional programming to build a reactive application, that utilizes massively parallel programming concepts to achieve desired goals.
